Sobre os autores

Lord Mantraste

Tim Furey
é artista, vive e trabalha em New Jersey.

About the artists

Lord Mantraste
Son of a hairdresser and a shepherd, was raised in the woods like an animal. He’s a fan of the popular mysticism and nature, nowadays lives hidden to make graphic design and illustration.
Intends to be the Madonna of illustration where each of his work becomes baby Jesus!
Tim Furey
is a New Jersey based artist. His work is full of texture, shapes, neon colors and best of all aliens! Combining a wide array of media in his collages he creates psychedelically-hued interiors, still life scenes and narratives that hint at the story without giving away the plot. Inexpensive craft paper, holographic stickers and crayon scribbles combine to create images that are both primitive and futuristic. The result is a hypercolored world where aliens mingle with mankind to create unknown future worlds.
Tim Furey is inspired by artists like David Hockney, Cy Twombly, Devin Troy Strother, Michael Swaney, and Drew Beckmeyer. Similiar to Robert A. Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land", Tim injects a sense of uneasiness with his unexpected color palette, shifts in perspective, and use of textures.
